Due to ongoing success, our client, a reputable market-leading insurance broker is actively seeking a tenacious and results-driven Business Development Manager to complement their sales department in a permanent capacity.

Reporting to the Business Development Director, key responsibilities will include;

  • Working closely with marketing teams, managing sector-specific leads in our chosen specialties, and liaising with prospective clients to convert leads through the successful placement of client insurance programs.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and creating presentations, slips, and cover notes to ensure accurate and timely documentation is passed to both underwriters and clients, and submissions to broke prospective risks to insurers
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with the insurance market, specific underwriters, intra-group colleagues, and clients
  • Adherence to company standards and procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times

You will be a recognized self-starter, level-headed and commercially minded, resilient, and able to handle a wide variety of tasks in a fast-moving environment.
