Our client is seeking a motivated and organized individual to join their customer service team, as a Customer Service Administrator for 12-months maternity leave cover. This exciting role offers a chance to work with both internal and external customers, providing support and ensuring all customer needs are met promptly and accurately.

Are you a proactive team player with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written?

You will be working with various departments, such as the sales team, quality control, warehouse, purchasing, and IT to resolve issues, secure ETA dates to update customers, and enhance systems and processes to improve customer service.

Other key duties include:

  • Answering all inbound calls and responding to customer emails
  • Co-ordination and management of sampling orders
  • Data entry of sales orders
  • Management of Stock control
  • Arranging returns from customers where appropriate and raising Returns Authorisations
  • Process web-based sales orders in a timely manner
  • Setting up customer profiles to allow them website access.

As a customer service representative, you will act as an ambassador for the organization and maintain positive communication both internally and externally. You should have a professional approach, take responsibility for personal development, and be able to work on your own initiative.

The essential criteria for this role include GCSE Maths/English at grade A-C, good and effective communication skills, and a competent level of IT literacy. Desirable qualifications include customer service experience. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is also essential.
