£35,000 – £40,000 Basic + £3,000 Car allowance + Up to £16,000 Commission
The role
A world leader in aftermarket automotive electronics manufacturing is currently seeking a business development manager to represent them in the UK and Western Europe. We specialize in components for the automotive industry and export to over 100 countries worldwide. Our comprehensive range of engine management and rotating products include Ignition Coils, Charging Systems, Sensors, and TPMS.
Key Duties
- Developing new business and managing existing accounts to increase business
- Market price research
- Setting sales strategies and building strong relationships within the territory
- Setting marketing strategies within the territory
- Providing quotes
- Setting up budgets and targets on a yearly basis
- Market research new markets potential
- Organizing marketing within the territory
- Customer communication
- Frequent customers visits in the territory (10-12 trips per year)
- Sales reports
- Sales figures analysis
- Managing agents and distributors
- Represent the company at Exhibitions in the territory
- 80% business development, 20% account management.
The ideal candidate will have
- 3-5 years BDM experience
- Automotive industry background is beneficial, but not essential
- Western European languages are highly desirable
